
You can use this feature only when both the parent organization and subsidiary are on the TSC platform.
A parent company is a business entity that owns a significant portion in another company, known as a subsidiary. There may be scenarios wherein you are required to share your Sustainability Data with your parent Organization. The Sustainability Cloud ® platform provides a seamless way to exchange this data with your parent organization.
Only the parent organization has the authority to assign itself as a parent organization for a subsidiary company. Subsidiaries cannot select the Parent Organization.
Request to become Subsidiary of a Parent Organization
If your company needs to become a part of a parent organization the following process must be followed
- You need to reach out to the admin of the parent organization
- The parent organization sends a request to the your company to assign them as the parent organization.
- Browse to the Parent Organization tab for the approval.
- Once you have approved the same, your account starts reflecting the information in your Parent Organization tab.
Example
Company A is the parent organization and Company B is subsidiary of Company A. Company A and Company B are using the TSC platform for sustainability management. Company A adds the company B as the subsidiary and asks company B to approve the Company A as parent organization. Now after approval Company B can check the Parent Organization tab, Company A will be reflect there as parent organization.
