Getting Data from Enterprise Systems
APIs play a crucial role as the fundamental connector, establishing rules and formats to facilitate seamless communication between applications. They enable various sustainability tools to collaborate seamlessly, promoting integration for a unified and efficient approach.
Following is the process how you can get data from enterprise systems.
Integration Setup : The Sustainability Cloud™ Support integrates industry details into the TSC portal through the API system.
Token Generation :The Sustainability Cloud™ Tech Team generates a unique token ID for either the partner or end customer.
Token and Metasheet Distribution : The Sustainability Cloud™ team provides the generated token ID along with a metasheet to the industry. Metasheet is a data sheet which contains necessary information of the industry like organization id, serial number, device id etc.
Connection Establishment : The industry uses the provided token and metasheet to establish a connection within the TSC Cloud Platform and their own system.
Data Transfer Setup : Once the connection is established, the industry configures their system to push data to the TSC Platform.
Data Transmission : The industry starts pushing their data to the TSC Platform through the established connection.
In summary, The Sustainability Cloud™ Support integrates industry details, generates a token ID, shares the token ID and metasheet with the industry, and helps establish a connection for data transfer between the industry's system and the TSC Cloud Platform. The industry then initiates data transmission to the platform.
