Configuring GWP Datasets
A GWP dataset is a set of values that indicate the global warming potential of each gas as compared to CO2. This is used to convert emissions from various gases to their carbon dioxide equivalents (CO2e).
The most common GWP database is provided by Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), an international body for assessing the science related to climate change. These data sets are revised from time to time and allow organizations to calculate their emissions footprint.
The compliance engine of TSC NetZero™ automatically updates these GWP datasets as soon as they are publicly released for consumption by organizations. This enables you to calculate your emissions as per the latest editions of these datasets.
